Renault Duster 2018 Facelift Revealed in Full Flesh | Might Debut In India At February Auto Expo

Okay, first things first you might have already seen the new 2018 Duster facelift that will come to India but in all fairness, those pictures feature the original Dacia badge. The news we bring to you today, however, is that the new Duster facelift with a Renault badge has been revealed by the company and it is actually the one that will come to India in early 2018. Dacia is a low-cost sister brand from the French automaker Renault which originally manufactures the Duster but it is sold in countries like India, Brazil and Russia with a Renault badge.

What does the new 2018 Renault Duster bring to the table?

The 2018 facelift of the Renault Duster will come with a host of new features and to rival the new compact SUVs in India like the Brezza and the Nexon. The pictures revealed by Renault tell us that it is not a mild facelift but a total design overhaul. The headlamps and tail lamps are definitely the most different part of the design and hardly resemble the existing Renault Duster. The front lamps now round off around the corners and the tail lamps have quite a unique design element.

The new Duster 2018 looks a lot more sophisticated than before and will definitely lure the more upmarket buyer. Coming to the new Renault Duster Facelift’s interiors there are some major thought after changes as well. The interior is more premium with better touch materials and redesigned AC vents. The steering looks borrowed from the recently launched Renault Captur. The infotainment in the 2018 Duster facelift is a classic Renault unit but from the looks of it we don’t think it will get Apple Carplay or Android Auto which we hope we’re wrong about.

Launch date and Price of the Renault Duster Facelift 2018:

India is one of the most important markets for Renault and Duster is their most selling car in the country’s portfolio. It will make total sense to launch the Renault Duster 2018 facelift at the Auto Expo early next year. What will be interesting is the pricing of the car. The company has just launched the Captur and positioned it above the Renault Duster in India. We’re very anxious to see if 2018 Renault Duster facelift is priced similarly and Renault ends up having two cars compete for each other in the same segment.
