Renault has launched Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition in India. To take advantage of the ongoing festive season, the Sandstorm edition of the new Renault Duster has been launched by Renault India in the Indian market.
The transmission of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition remains same as the standard Renault Duster. The 85hp model of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition gets a five-speed manual gearbox whereas the 110hp version of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition gets a six-speed gearbox.
Renault Duster Sandstorm special edition launched
The special-edition Renault Duster Sandstorm has been launched in India. It has been reported that the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition will not available with an AMT gearbox and also, it will not get a petrol engine.
The Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition will be available in two versions of the 1.5 litre dCi K9K diesel engine- 85hp and 110hp. The Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition has been launched in India at Rs 10.40 lakh for the 85hp version whereas the 110hp version is priced at 11.70 lakh. The prices of both the versions of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition are ex-showroom, Delhi. According to report, both the options claim to deliver a fuel efficiency of 20kmpl.
The unique Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition
One of the unique features that separates the Renault Duster Sandstorm from the existing model is its unique exterior paint shades. This Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition is coupled with body-coloured door handles and body graphics.
The Sandstorm Edition of the Renault Duster also gets a bumper extension up front. Round fog lamps have been merged in this bumper. In place of the chrome grille, the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition has been loaded with a matte black grille that adds to its appearance. The Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition comes with special Sandstorm branding on the sides and specially designed 16-inch Zodiac alloy wheels.
Striking features of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition
The newly launched Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition gets special dual-tone seat covers on the inside and is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system. On the safety part, the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition has been loaded with features like dual front airbags and ABS.
‘Sandstorm’ decals on the doors, hood, tailgate and ORVMs add to the looks of the Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition. The Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition is available in three colour options – Silver, bronze and slate grey.
The Renault Duster Sandstorm edition will rival the likes of the Mahindra Scorpio, Hyundai Creta, and the Honda BR-V.
