After terrorist attacks on the Indian army at Uri, our Army has taken a revenge by killing over 38 terrorists in surgical strikes by destroying the militant launch pads in POK. While the entire nation is happy for this act of bravery, here in Chandigarh it is final that the city will not be welcoming any Pakistani artists or traders.
An Indo-Pak exhibition by the name of Riwaaz based on the theme of Karva Chauth & Diwali Festival was scheduled to be held in Chandigarh on 8th, 9th & 10th October, 2016. The exhibition had more than 15 stalls of Pakistani traders who were scheduled to come to Chandigarh to showcase Pakistani clothing & jewellery range. But now, it is final that Riwaaz will not have any Pakistani Stalls.
The organisers of the exhibition – Gaganpreet & Amanpreet confirmed the same to Chandigarh Metro.
Riwaaz – Karva Chauth & Diwali Exhibition
The exhibition which was earlier announced as an Indo – Pak one is now being considered as a Karva Chauth & Diwali Special Exhibition. Here are the details:
Date: 8th, 9th & 10th October.
Venue: Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28, Chandigarh.
Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1653056435024526
Since the organisers have made a wise decision to not include Pakistani Traders considering the tension between India & Pakistan, the exhibition is expected to draw huge crowds due to the festival spirit in Chandigarh.
Few months back, Glambiz Events had organised an Indo-Pak exhibition which was a super success. The Pakistani traders were so happy to see Chandigarh that they expressed their interest to come to this city again and again. However, this time no trade links can be established between India & Pakistan. So, the organisers have announced that they would be showcasing the India collection.
The best part about Riwaaz – Karva Chauth & Diwali Exhibition is that people will be able to shop for festival season from well-known Indian artists. Did we tell you that Navratra days are starting from 1st October. So, get ready and enjoy. Happy Shopping.
