All New Royal Enfield 750cc Bike Named ‘Interceptor’ Likely to Launch in November | Know Features & Price

The Royal Enfield 750cc Interceptor motorcycle has been leaked quite a few times on the web in India now. It first leaked some two years ago with a rumour that Royal Enfield was working on a new 750cc motorcycle. The news made all the bike enthusiasts excited. With the next few leaks and rumours we learned that it is actually a cafe racer form of a motorcycle called the Interceptor 750. Now if the latest reports are to be believed they tell the bike is likely to be showcased on the 7th of November on EICMA show. The pictures tell us that it will in fact be a beefed up version of the already popular Continental GT Cafe Racer. Two different prototypes have been identified in spy shots and lead to the suspicion that two variants of the bike may be released. One of them is definitely the Interceptor 750cc.

Features of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc

This motorcycle will mark the debut of a new air-cooled twin parallel 750cc engine from Royal Enfield. The leaks suggest that it will make an upward of 50 horsepowers. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc or the Continental GT 750cc will have single disc brakes on both the front and the rear wheel but larger in size than the existing ones on the Continental GT 535cc. ABS will be offered as standard for the international and Indian markets.

It is to be noted that Royal Enfield 750cc used to sell an Interceptor 750 twin cylinder motorcycle in the European markets during the 1960-1970 period and this could be the reintroduction of the same nameplate.

Royal Enfield Interceptor Launch Date in India

Experts say the bike will be showcased in India on November 7th and will be launched in Europe the same year. As the trend with Royal Enfield, it will launch here in India soon after the Europe launch.

Royal Enfield Interceptor Price in India

The rumoured price of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc will be around 3-3.5 lakh and thus will undercut the price of its competitors by a huge margin. It will compete with the Harley Davidson Street 750.
