Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500x and 350x Get a Launch Date in India | Check Prices

Royal Enfield Thunderbird Series Get The Much Needed Update On 22nd February

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X edition was spotted a while ago and made waves all over the internet with its edgy paint scheme. The 350X also followed suit and featured the same design elements including the colour options. However, the news we bring to you today is that the two motorcycles finally have a launch date and we might get our hands on them as soon as 22nd of February. Royal Enfield has been busy with the launch of the Interceptor and the Continental GT (rumoured April) both coming with the 650cc engine and we never thought we might get to see a new launch by the company before that.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X and 350X Features

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird might not be the most selling motorcycle in the company’s portfolio but has its own niche fan following. The bike is one of the most affordable cruiser motorcycles in the Indian bike market and is the perfect choice for people going on road trips frequently. However, it was never a favourite among the younger customers because of the lack of updates and better options within the Royal Enfield product portfolio.

All this is bound to change with the X editions of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 and 350cc motorcycles. The duo come with a funky paint job ranging from white, yellow and blue colours and blacked out finish on the engine as well as the exhaust. There is a new straight handle bar aimed to make cruising better and the black alloy wheels to compliment the rest of the motorcycle. Royal Enfield has also managed to offer tubeless tyres in the new bikes, a feature that people surely missed in its other products.

Price and Launch Date of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird Series

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird series that gets a Redditch like treatment that we saw on the Classic variants will appeal to a wider set of buyers and help in increasing the sales for the company. The two motorcycles will be priced slightly higher than the regular variants of the Thunderbird series thus making them two of the most expensive bikes in their respective segments. The launch will happen on the 22nd of February and the deliveries might begin soon after. However, the biggest launch of 2018 for Royal Enfield is still going to be the Interceptor and Continental GT bikes which will come with its new twin parallel 650cc engine.
