RPF Recruitment 2018 for Sub Inspector & Constable Post Under RRB – Eligibility & Application Process

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of India has invited application for over 9500 posts of Sub-inspector (SI) & constable under RPF (Railway Protection Force). The notification for the same has been rolled out during the Employment news week dated 19-25 May 2018. The official notification can also be checked on the official website for RRB recruitment.

Earlier, RRB in the year 2018 has rolled out a large number of vacancies under various departments of Indian Railway. Now, in May 2018 the Board has rolled out the details for the application process of RPF Sub Inspector & Constable post for the year 2018. RRB – RPF Recruitment 2018: SI & Constable – Post Eligibility

Candidates can apply for the RPF Sub Inspector & Constable post online from 1 June 2018 from 10 am. As per Railway Recruitment Board, the last date of the application will be 30 June 2018. A total of 9739 posts have been announced for the recruitment process by the Railway Protection Force for the year 2018. Whereas it has also been announced that 50% of these vacancies in 2018 will be reserved for the women candidates.

Candidates who are interested in the post of Sub Inspector or constable in RPF under Railway Recruitment Control Board for 2018 should be in between the age limit of 18-25 years. Only the candidates falling in this age group will be eligible to apply for the post rolled out by RPF for RRB recruitment 2018.

Application & Selection process for RPF SI Post 2018 by RRB

Candidates will have to apply online for RPF SI & Constable post-2018 on the official website of RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) from 1 June onwards. Also, the candidates of General/ OBC Category have to pay Rs. 500 (400 will be refunded) as an application fee, whereas for Female/ SC/ST & PwD candidates, fees is Rs. 250 (250 will be refunded).

As far as the selection process of RPF Sub Inspector & constable posts is concerned, candidates have to go through 4 phases of test- starting from Written test & then followed by PET, PST & finally the Medical Examination. Altohugh the exam dates & much details will be updated soon on the official website of Railway Recruitment Control Board regarding the RPF SI & Constable post-2018.
