RPF Recruitment 2019: In the last week of December, Railway Protection Force released an official notification and invited applications from candidates for the post of Constable. The department started the process of filling the application form on 1st January. The candidates who want to apply for the post can check the official notification and then apply online for the same. Here are the details regarding the RPF Recruitment 2019.
RPF Recruitment 2019 – Education Qualifications, Vacancies, Application Fee, Last Date
Important Dates: The procedure of application form filling for the recruitment of constable in Railway Protection Force has started online on the official website on 1st January 2019. The closing date for the registration and form filling process is 30th January 2019. The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct the examination for the post of Constable in the month of February and March. This exam date is tentative and the exact date will be announced later on.
Application Fee: The candidates applying for the post of Constable in Railway Protection Force (RPF) will have to submit the examination fee of Rs 500. This is for the candidates belonging to the General and OBC category candidates. All other category candidates including female candidates will have to pay Rs 250 as examination fee. Once the candidate will appear in the first stage CBT exam then the fee is refunded back. For the General and OBC category, Rs 400 will be refunded and Rs 250 will be refunded for rest of other category candidates.
Vacancies: As per the official notification of Indian Railways for the post of Constable, there are total 798 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Constable (Water Carrier), Constable (Safaiwala), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), Constable (Mali), Tailor Grade III and Cobbler Grade III. For the post of Constable Water Carrier, there are 452 vacancies, 199 vacancies for the Constable Safaiwala, 49 vacancies for the Constable Washerman, 49 vacancies for the Constable Barber, 7 for the Constable Mali, 20 vacancies for the Tailor Grade III and 22 vacancies for the Cobbler Grade III.
Age Limit: The candidates with age limit from 18 to 25 years can fill the application form for the post of Constable in Railway Protection Force. For the SC/ST category candidates, the upper age limit is 30 years, and for the OBC category candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years. The details regarding the age limit can be checked in the official notification.
Education Qualification: The candidates applying for the post of Constable in Railway Protection Force must have passed the minimum education qualification. The minimum education qualification is Matric. The matriculation certificate from the recognized board shall only be valid. The candidates who are waiting for the result of the final exam as per the qualification prescribed should not apply.
