RRB Notification for 9739 Posts in (RPF) Railway Protection Force 2018 Recruitment Out – Check All Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released another notification to recruit qualified Indian citizens in Railway Protection Force (RPF). The notification for RPF recruitment 2018 was issued on the official website of RRB on 18th May. As per the official notification, Railway Recruitment Board has notified a total of 9739 posts that will be filled through the described process in the year 2018.

The positions in Railway Protection force recruitment 2018 are that of Constable and Sub Inspector posts. As per the official notification, it has been stated that the online application process for RPF force under Railway Recruitment Control Board will start on 1st June. The current RRB recruitment process of over 90,000 posts of Group C and Group D also deserves a mention as over 2 crore applications have been filled for the same.

Railway Recruitment Board 2018 – RPF Posts

The current notification is for Constable as well as Sub-Inspector posts. As per NDTV, the application process will begin on 1st June and end on 30th June 2018. Railway Recruitment Board has also mentioned that out of the total number of posts, 4517 posts are reserved for female candidates.

For the SI post in RPF recruitment 2018, selected candidates will be appointed in the level 6 of 7th Pay Commission pay matrix with an initial salary of Rs. 35400 and allowances. However, for the constable post, the candidates will be appointed in the level 3 of 7th CPC with an initial starting salary of Rs. 21700.

The exact dates and process for selection are not known as of now but as per sources in Railway Recruitment Control Board, it has been stated that there will be a computer-based test for the candidates. This CBT for Railway Protection Force recruitment will be held in September 2018. The exact dates will be notified soon. To make it easier for candidates, the computer-based test for this 2018 recruitment drive of RPF under RRB will be held in different languages including Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujurati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.

The application process to apply for RRB RPF recruitment 2018 will start on 1st June 2018. The application fee for the same for general category candidates is Rs. 500 and it is Rs. 250 for SC/ ST candidates. A part of the fee might be refunded to those who appear for the exam like the previous norm of Railway Recruitment Board.
