In the month of February, the online application process for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot & Assistant in Indian Railway started. The application process started on February 3rd. Now the Railway Recruitment Board has extended the last date of application for the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) & Technician. RRB ALP Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Important Dates – The online application for the RRB ALP recruitment 2018 begun on 03rd February 2018. The last date to apply online is March 31st, 2018. All candidates are advised to fill the online application form on or before the last date. The last date to pay the application fee is 30th March and Exam Date is April/May 2018.
Application Fees – All candidates belonging to General and OBC category will have to pay Rs.500 as application fee for the Railway Recruitment 2018 for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex.SM will have to pay Rs.250 as application fee. For female candidates of all category, the application fee is Rs.250. Also, there is a Rs.100 Application Correction charge. Candidates can pay the application fee via debit or credit card, net banking or via Bank Challan.
Age Limit – As on July 2018, the minimum age limit for the RRB ALP exam is 18 years. The maximum age limit is 30 years for General Category candidates. For OBC category candidates the maximum age limit is 33 years and for SC/ST the maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is as per rules.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies & How To Apply
Vacancy Details – There are total 26,502 vacancies in Railway for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot there are total 17,673 vacancies and For Technician Post there are total 8829 vacancies. The vacancies are further divided into categories. In the Assistant Loco Pilot Post, 9230 posts are for General Category, 4363 are for OBC category. 2694 post vacancies are for SC Category and 1387 are for ST category candidates. In the Technician post, 4563 vacancies are for General Category, 2162 are for OBC category, 1363 are for SC category and 738 are for ST Category.
