Railway Recruitment Control Board has extended the late date for the online application of Group D Post. Last month RRB released an official notification for the Railway Group D Recruitment 2018. RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 Important Dates – The application process for the Railway Group D vacancies started on 10th February 2018. The last date to apply online is now 31st March. All candidates are advised to fill the application form for the RRB Recruitment on or before the last date. The last date for the Online Payment is 30th March 2018. the last date of SBI Challan is 28 March 2018. Candidates can pay the post office challan by 27 March 2018. The Exam date for the RRB Group D post application is April/May 2018.
RRB Recruitment 2018 Application Fee Details – For General and OBC category candidates the application fee for the Railway Group D post application is Rs.500. For Female All category candidates the Application Fee is Rs.250. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/ EX-SM will have to pay Rs.250 as application fee. Also, in case of correction, there are Rs.100 charges. The application fee can be paid via credit card, debit card, net banking or via SBI Bank Challan.
RRB 2018 Recruitment Group D Posts Age Limit – The minimum age limit for the Railway Group D post is 18 years. The maximum age limit after age relaxation is 33 years for General Category, 36 years for OBC category and 38 years for the SC/ST category. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules. RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 – How To Apply, Vacancies
Vacancy Details & Qualification- There are total 62907 vacancies in Railway for Group D. These vacancies are for the posts of Helper, Track Maintainer, Gateman, Portar/Hamal/ Sweeper, Hospital Attendant, Assistant Pointsman. For all the post the minimum education qualification is 10th pass/ 12th pass/ Graduate / 10th pass + ITI / 10th pass + National Apprentice Certificate, Holder.
Type of Exam – There will be three stages for the exam which includes Computer Based test (CBT) and after that Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Computer-based test, PET and Document Verification.
How To Apply – Candidates can apply online on the official website of RRB for the Group D Posts. Candidates who are waiting for the final result of last group d exam can’t apply. Candidates will have to upload the passport size photography with date and name printed and scanned copies of SC/ST certificate at the time of application.
