RRB Group D Recruitment 2018: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an official notification regarding the update of the RRB Group D posts 2018 and RRB Group C posts 2018. According to the Railway Recruitment Control Board, the exam schedule for the RRB Group D and RRB Group C posts first stage CBT exam is still in progress and soon the exam schedule for Railway Group D posts and Railway Group C posts exam will be updated. RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 For ALP & Technician Update on Exam Dates
According to the RRB official notification for Group C and Group D posts (RRB ALP & Technician) in Railways, the exam dates are not yet finalized. This is due to the high number of applications received by the RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) for more than 89000 posts (RRB Group C + RRB Group D).
Further, the official notification of RRB states that the scrutiny of the application is in progress and the exam schedule for the Group C (ALP & Technician) and Group D posts will soon be updated. After the scrutiny of the applications received by the Railway Recruitment Control Board, the exam dates will be updated on the RRB website.
2.37 Crore Applications Received for Group C & Group D Posts
The official notification released by the Railway Recruitment Board also states that the RRB has received about 2.37 crore applications for the Group C and Group D posts. This is why there is a delay in the release of exam schedule for the RRB Group C and Group D posts. Earlier the first stage CBT exam dates for the RRB Group C and RRB Group D posts was scheduled to be held in the month of April/May.
To recall, Railway Recruitment Control Board released the official notification for the RRB Group C posts and RRB Group D posts in the month of February. The online application process for the same started in the month of February. For the RRB Group C posts, Railway Recruitment Board announced 26502 vacancies (for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) and 62907 vacancies for Group D posts in Railways.
