RRB Recruitment 2018 has announced the commencement of the application of 62907 Group D Posts online from candidates for the vacancy in the Indian Railways. The online application for the post has already begun and the deadline for its last submission is March 12, 2018.

The Indian Railways has opened 62,907 vacancies for various posts of Group D Level 1 of 7 CPC Pay Matrix. The candidates will get selected by the recruitment board via RRB who will later post qualified lot across the different units of the Indian Railways. There will be a one single online application form for the RRB recruitment 2018 that has to be submitted on the official website only as done under the Centralised Employment Notice notified.
To fill up the application form for the RRB Recruitment 2018 for the Indian Railways vacancy, candidates should have an email ID and a mobile number, which is functional. All the application and the recruitment related communications will be processed on these two mediums via an email or SMSes. The email ID and phone number once registered with the recruitment board cannot be changed. The application process, test, and the final results will be done online only. However, the final date for the computer-based test (CBT) is yet to be announced officially but it is expected to be conducted in the month of April or May 2018.
Eligibility of candidates applying for RRB recruitment 2018
Only those candidates will be eligible for the application of the post who are of the age from 18 to 31 years while relaxation in the age will be given only to a few as per the government rules. Candidates who have passed class 10th or have completed ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized or equivalent institutes or holding National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be eligible for the post.
To fill up the application forms for the RRB Recruitment 2018 for Indian Railway Group D examination, candidates will have to submit a fee of Rs 500 who fall under the category of OBC / Unreserved (UR). Whereas those from the SC/ST/ PWDs/ Ex- Serviceman/ Minorities/ Female/ Transgender or Economically weaker section will have to submit the application fee of Rs 250 only.
For the recruitment in the RRB Indian Railways 2018, candidates will have to first appear for the CBT followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), if qualified the first level. The recruited candidates will be eligible to draw a monthly pay scale of Rs 18000 and allowances extra, as per the 7th pay commission.
