RRB Recruitment 2018: Exam Pattern & Eligibility for New Posts of Group D | Apply Before 21 June

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently invited more application under Group D for 100 vacancies in Konkan Railways for the year 2018. Once again RRB has rolled out notification for the Group D recruitment of Trackman, Khalsi, Pointman for Konkan Railways 2018. The application process for the same has been started & the last date of the same is 21 June 2018.

A Total of 100 vacancies have been out under Railway Recruitment Control Board Group D category by the Konkan Railways for the year 2018. And the new vacancies includes- Trackman (45), Pointman (18), Khalasi-ELectrical (2), Khalasi-S &T (3) & Khalasi- Mechanical (3). Check out the eligibility & exam pattern for the same below.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2018: Eligibility Details including Education & Age Limit

Candidates who are interested in applying for any of Group D new posts by RRB for the year 2018 must be 10th passed & should under the age limit of 18-31 years as of 1st July 2018. Also, the students awaiting their 10th Board result should not apply for the same. Even as per Govt rules, Railway Recruitment Board has been given away age relaxation to reserved category students, check out here-

  • SC/ST Students- 5-year relaxation
  • OBC- 3 year of upper age relaxation
  • Ex-Servicemen Candidate- 3 years provided put in service for 6 months after attestation
  • PWD Candidates- 10 years for General category, 13 years for OBC & 12 years for SC/ST.

Exam Pattern for Group D (New Post) by Railway Recruitment Board

The candidates who have been planning to apply for the RRB Group D vacancies 2018 will have to go through CBT exam (Computer Based Test) & Physical examination. Check out the exam pattern here-

CBT exam under Railway Recruitment Board will consist of 100 questions of the objective type including Common General Awareness (Maths, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness & current affairs). The exam will be of 90 minutes & whereas for every wrong answer 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

And the minimum percentage for qualifying in the CBT Exam of RRB Group D 2018 has been as- General (40%), OBC/SC/ST (30%) & PWD (Gen 38% & others 28%).

Then qualified candidates will then have to go through PET exam (Physical Efficiency Test) to get in the post of RRB Group D of Konkan Railways 2018.
