RPF Recruitment 2018: Ministry of Railways through Railway Recruitment Board has released an official notification for the Railway Protection Force Recruitment 2018 (RPF). The ministry will conduct the RPF exam for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable in Railway Protection Force. RPF Recruitment 2018 (SI & Constable) – Important Dates
The notification for the RPF Recruitment 2018 has released by the Ministry of Railways on the official website. These vacancies are for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector. The online application will begin from 1st June 2018. The last date for the application process is 30th June.
All candidates who want to apply are advised to apply online for the RPF Recruitment 2018 on or before the last date. As per the notification through Railway Recruitment Board, the admit card for the RPF Recruitment exam 2018 will be out in the month of September and the first stage CBT exam for RPF will be conducted in the month of September/October 2018.
RPF Recruitment 2018 (SI & Constable) – Vacancies
There are total 9739 vacancies in RPF for the post of SI and Constable. For the post of Constable Male, there are total 4403 vacancies in Indian Railways for Railway Protection Force. For the post of Constable female, there are total 4216 vacancies. For the post of SI Male, there are total 819 vacancies in the Railway Protection Force Recruitment 2018 and for the Sub Inspector Female, there are total 301 vacancies.
RPF Recruitment 2018 (SI & Constable – Other Important Details
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT (Computer Based Test) followed by the PET Test, PMT test and the Document Verification Process. Candidates will have to clear the first stage CBT exam to appear for the PMT & PET test.
Application Fee: The application fee for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector in RPF under Railway Recruitment Board is Rs. 500 for all candidates belonging to General and OBC Category. For the SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs.250. For the Women Candidates, the application fee is Rs.250. The fee can be paid via credit card, debit card or by net banking.. Candidates can also pay the fee via Challan.
Age Limit: For the post of Constable in Railway Protection Force, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. For the post of Sub Inspector in RPF, the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxation for the SC/ST as given by Railway Recruitment Board to these candidates is 5 years and for OBC NCL is 3 years.
