RRB Recruitment 2018 For Group C & Group D – Vacancies
Overall there are more than 89,000 vacancies in Railways for the Group C posts (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) and Group D posts. For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways, there are total 17,653 post vacancies. For the General Category there are 9230 vacancies, for OBC there are 4363 vacancies, For SC there are 2694 vacancies and for ST category there are 1387 vacancies.
For the post of Technician under the RRB ALP recruitment 2018, there are total 8829 post vacancies. For General category there are 4563 vacancies, for OBC category there are 2162 vacancies, for SC category there are 1363 vacancies and for ST category there are 738 vacancies. The last date to pay the application fee online is 30th March. The last date to pay the application fee via SBI Challan is 28th March. The exam will be held in the month of April/May 2018. Candidates from General and OBC category the application fee is Rs.500 and for all female candidates and SC/ST/PH/EX-SM category candidates the application fee is Rs.250.
RRB Recruitment 2018 – Age Limit & How To Apply
Age Limit – For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician the minimum age limit to apply is 18 years. The maximum age limit for the General category candidates is 30 years, for OBC 33 years and for SC/ST years. For the Railways Group D Posts, the minimum age limit to apply is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 33 for General Category, 36 for OBC and 38 for SC/ST.
