RRB Recruitment 2018 – Last Date Extended For Correction in Bank Account Details
The Railway Recruitment Control Board has extended the last date to 31st December 2018. Earlier the last date was 25th December and now 6 more days have been added. The candidates who haven’t make the necessary correction in the bank details are advised that they should make the changes before the last date. The link to make changes in the bank details will remain live till 31st December 2018.
After the last date, the candidates won’t be able to make changes in the bank account details. Earlier, the Railway Recruitment Board released the notice regarding the refund of the application fee for the ALP and Technician exam on 12th December 2018. At that time the starting date was 18th December, but due to some issues, RRB started the bank account correction process on 21st December 2018.
RRB Application Fee Refund Process For ALP & Technician Exam
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) initiated a refund of the application for all the candidates who appeared in the Ist Stage CBT Exam for the ALP and Technician posts. At the time of the refund process, the transaction failed due to the incorrect details of the bank provided by the candidates. The Board intimated all the candidates who transaction failed via SMS and email.
Now candidates can make changes in the bank account details added by them at the time of filing of the application form. This is the final opportunity for all candidates to make the changes in the bank account to get a refund of the application fee. Candidates must ensure that they will enter the correct bank account details including the bank account number, IFSC number, and branch details.
