RRB Recruitment 2018: The last date for the RRB ALP recruitment and the RRB Group D posts have been crossed. the last date for the application for the various posts was 31st March. But now the Indian Railways is going to start a new recruitment drive for more than 19000 posts in railways. Earlier this year Railways announced 90000 vacancies for ALP and Group D posts and more than 25 million applicants applied for the vacancies.
RRB Recruitment 2018 – New Vacancies details
Railway Recruitment Board is soon going to start the online application process for the various posts. Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal announced the vacancies on its Twitter account. Before the last date for the application of RRB ALP and RRB Group D posts, Railway Minister announced the recruitment of Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force on Twitter.
Indian Railways will fill 9000 vacancies in RPF and RPSF and in L1 and L2 the RRB will fill more than 10000 vacancies. This is according to the tweet of Piyush Goyal, Railways Minister of India. The official notification regarding the same will be out in the month of May 2018. Candidates can check the notification on the website of Indian Railways once the notification will be released.
Railways Group C and Group D Posts Vacancies details
Under the Railway Group C (RRB ALP – Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) there are 26502 vacancies. For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, there are 17653 vacancies which are divided category wise. For the post of Technician, there are 8829 vacancies and these posts are also divided category wise.
For the Group D posts (Helper, Hospital Attendant, Assistant Pointsman, Gateman, Sweeper & Track Maintainer) there are total 62907 vacancies. To make it clear, the last date to apply online for the RRB ALP and RRB Group D posts was 31st March.
For the Group D posts the pay scale is Rs.18000; Level 1 of the 7tyh CPC Matrix and Allowances. For the post of ALP and Technician candidates selected candidates will get an initial pay of Rs 19900/- and other allowances. (Level 2 of 7th CPC). To recall, the online application process for the RRB ALP started on 3rd February and the online application process for the RRB Group D posts started on 10th February 2018. The last date for the both was 31st March 2018.
