RRB Recruitment 2018: Railway Recruitment Board has released an official notification on its website for the RPF recruitment 2018 for the post of Constable and Sub Inspector. RPF Recruitment 2018 – Selection Procedure
The selection for the posts of Constable in the Railway Protection Force under Indian railways will be based on the basis of the CBT (Computer Based Test). The CBT exam will be the first phase which is followed by the PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PMT (Physical Measurement test) and at last the document verification. The candidates who will clear the CBT exam for the RRB RPF Recruitment 2018 will go for the second phase.
CBT Exam For the Post of Constable in RPF: The CBT exam for the post of Constable in RPF (Railway Protection Force) will be conducted simultaneously for all groups. As per RRB, this exam will have total 120 questions and candidates will have 90 minutes to solve the CBT exam. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. The CBT exam will have three section – General Awareness (50 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Marks) & Arthimetic (35 marks).
PET & PMT: On the basis of performance and merit list in the CBT exam, candidates will be called for the PET and PMT. There are different standard s for women and men. Running of 1600 meters in 5 min 45 seconds will have to covered by the male candidates, Long Jump of 14 feet and a high jump of 4 feet. Female candidates will have to complete 800 meters run in 3 min 40 seconds, a long jump of 9 feet and a high jump of 3 feet.
Document Verification: Railway Recruitment Board has mentioned that the candidates who will successfully clear the PET, PMT and the CBT exam will be called for the document verification process. If two persons or candidates score same marks then the merit position will be determined by the age factor. The older person will be preferred.
RPF Recruitment 2018 Constable Vacancies
As per Railway Recruitment Control Board notification, there are total 9739 vacancies in Railway Protection Force for the post of Constable and SI. For the post of Constable, there are total 4403 posts for the male candidates and 4216 posts for the female candidates. The online application process will start from 1st June 2018 and the last date for the application is 30th June 2018. The exam will be conducted in the month of September/October.
