Tubelight – Shooting Locations & Roles

Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan are lead stars for the team. Khan Brothers were perfect for this movie as when there is an emotional scene they both get emotions automatically or when there is comedy scene; they understand each other and are comfortable in those scenes. They both not only played the character but also felt the same.

Tubelight also stars Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, the late Om Puri and a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Movie explores the relationship between brothers and belief. It was quite challenging for stars to shoot in harsh weather conditions in Manali.

Sohail Khan plays the role of an army officer faced huge physical challenges as he needs to run a lot and climb huge terrains. Due to low oxygen on high altitudes, many stuntmen had breathing difficulties and required oxygen masks to sustain in such environment. Few crew members fell sick and were sent back to Mumbai. Despite Manali’s such harsh weather conditions crew members, stars, stuntmen and all team members worked with dedication and braved the adverse conditions for almost three months during the shooting of the film.

The two songs from the movie were released; the first song is lively and catchy, whereas the second one celebrates the brotherhood between the reel and real life brothers Sohail Khan and Salman Khan. The soul touching trailer of the film is out, displaying major bromance vibes. The Khan brothers nailed the trailer with their lively acting and Shah Rukh Khan and Om Puri glimpse in the trailer stole the show. Makers have released few more behind the still scenes taken at Manali from the movie and Khan fans can’t resist for the release of the movie.
