Samsung Electronics has launched its new Notebook 9 Pen and upgraded variants of Notebook 9 laptop. Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is the Korean company’s latest offering that is a 2 in 1 PC. Notebook 9 has an aluminum-magnesium chassis that keeps the weight of notebook at just 995 grams.
Samsung has introduced three new variants of Notebook 9 (2018) from screen size 13.3 inch to 15 inches. Samsung Notebook 9 has a thickness of 15.4 mm and weighs only 1.29 kg making it one of the thinnest and lightest notebooks in its category.
Samsung Notebook 9 features and Specifications
The new Samsung Notebook 9 variants feature a 13.3 inch and 15 inch full HD touch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. All the new variants of Samsung Notebook 9 are powered by 8th gen Intel Core i7 processor up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB NVMe PCIe Hard disk, and Intel HD graphics card. The 15 GB variant of Notebook 9 offer comes with the option of upgrading to 2GB Nvidia MX150 graphics card. All the variants of Notebook 9 will be made available in Titan Silver and Crush White colors.
Samsung Notebook 9 also features a backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor, and precision touchpad and the Windows Hello camera with 720p HD resolution serves the purpose of video calls. Notebook 9 is backed by a 75Wh hexacell battery that Samsung claims to be the most powerful battery used in a notebook. The battery supports fast charging for Samsung claim of “Always On” capabilities. The Notebook 9 Pen comes with a bundled Integrated S Pen and has a backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor, and precision touchpad. The notebook has the same 720p Windows Hello front camera

Samsung Notebook 9 Pen features a 13 inch Full HD touch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The Notebook 9 pen is powered by an 8th gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe hard drive along with Intel HD graphics card. The notebook 9 Pen features the same 720p Windows Hello front camera for pictures and video calls. The notebook draws power from a 39Wh battery. Samsung new S Pen comes bundled with Notebook 9 Pen works without power and is ready to use immediately. The company claims that its fine 0.7mm tip with tilt detection is capable of recognizing 4,096 levels of pressure.
The Samsung Notebook 9 (2018) and Notebook 9 Pen will be made available in selected countries, starting from South Korea in December 2017. The prices of both the Samsung notebooks will be announced near the date of release.
