Sheesh Mahal, Patiala is all set to host the much awaited Saras Mela 2018 in the royal city from 21st Feb. A 12-day long event has been set up after 11 years of the gap that will be much exciting happening in the town. The Royal city- Patiala has been decked up in the preparation of Heritage & Saras Mela 2018 organized by Dept. of tourism & cultural affairs of Punjab Government.
Last time Heritage & Saras Mela, Patiala was held in the year 2006 and now it has been 11 years of it. Now the same has been organized in Sheesh Mahal to enthrall people of the Royal city with full-on entertainment package. Along with the 2018 Heritage & Saras Mela, the event will also mark the celebration of 255th Anniversary of the Royal city- Patiala, whose foundation stone was laid by the forefather of Capt. Amarinder Singh, Baba Ala Singh. In 2018, the inauguration of Saras Mela @ Sheesh Mahal will be carried out by Sikander Singh Maluka (Rural Development & Panchayat Minister).
