SBI Clerk Recruitment 2018 Exam Dates Changed | Check Notification for New Dates

The exam dates of SBI Prelims exam 2018 have been revised. Official notification of the change in exam dates of SBI Prelims exam is now available on the official website of SBI. The Promotion Department and the Central Recruitment of SBI have released the official notification regarding the changes in exam date on 28 February. All candidates who have applied for the SBI Clerk Exam 2018 can check the new exam dates on the official website of SBI. Here are the details about the new exam dates of SBI Clerk exam.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2018 New Exam Dates

SBI Preliminary exam is scheduled to held in the month of March/April 2018 is now tentatively changed to June/July 2018. According to the new dates of SBI Prelims Exam 2018, the call letter or the admit cards for the SBI Clerk exam can be downloaded from the website from June 6, 2018. Earlier the date to download the admit card is March 1st, 2018.

Also, the date of downloading the call letters for the SBI Mains exam is also changed. the new date to download the SBI Main exam is now July 23, 2018, and earlier it was April 26. According to the revised schedule of SBI CLerk exam 2018, the Mains Exam of SBI will be held on August 5 (Tentative date) instead of May 12.

SBI Clerk 2018: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Prelims exam and then followed by Main exam for the post of Clerk in SBI. The prelims exam for the SBI Clerk exam will of 1-hour duration and will carry 100 marks. The question paper of SBI Clerk exam 2018 will have three sections with questions of English Language 30 marks, Numerical Ability 35 marks and Reasoning Ability 35 marks. For each section candidates will get 20 minutes.

The prelims exam of SBI for the post of Clerk is qualifying in nature and candidates that qualify the prelims exam will go to the Main Exam. For SBI Mains exam the total candidates will be ten times the number of vacancy.

SBI Mains Exam – The SBI Main exam will be of two-hour duration carrying 200 marks. The question paper of SBI Main Exam will carry four sections. The first section is with General and Financial Awareness carrying 50 marks, Second section is General English carrying 40 marks, the third section is Quantitative Aptitude carrying 50 marks and the 4th section is Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude carrying 60 marks. 35 minutes will be allotted for general English, financial awareness and 45 minutes each for Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

To recall, SBI released the official notifications for the recruitment of Clerks in the month of January. there are total 8301 vacancies in SBI for the post of Clerks and candidates will be selected for various SBI branches. The online application process for the SBI Clerk recruitment started on 20 January 2018. The last date to apply online for the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2018 was 10th February.
