Silk Fab Exhibition at Himachal Bhawan | November 2016

With a wide variety of Silk, Chandigarh’s most exceptional ‘Silk fab’ exhibition-cum-sale is back again with its 2016 version. The ‘Silk fab’ exhibition of exquisite silk handloom fabrics is being organised by National Handloom Development Corporation Ltd (A Govt. of India undertaking) and sponsored by Ministry of Textiles (Govt of India). November 2016 edition of the ‘Silk Fab’ is being organised at Himachal Bhawan which is located in Sector- 28-B, Chandigarh. The exhibition showcases the blend of hand woven fabric from different states of India.

Although Silk is one of the costlier fabric in India, but it has always been loved by women because it gives the rich and elegant look. Silk Fab 2016 edition in Chandigarh has a wide variety of Silk material woven in different shapes and sizes. Some common items include:

The exhibition showcases the large varieties of Silk material from different states of India including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and much more. As all the stalls are registered under Govt of India, we can say that the quality of fabric offered by the exhibitors is at par with quality.

Last year, Silk Fab was organized at Kisan Bhawan in Sector 35. But this time, it is being held at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28.
