South Indian Bank has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of PO. The bank has released the official notification and the procedure of filling the application form will begin from 10th December 2018. The South Indian Bank has invited application from the candidates for the recruitment of PO in Scale – I Cadre on completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance. South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 – All Details
The online application process for filling the application form for the post of PO in South Indian Bank will start on 10th December 2018. The Last date to fill the application form is 16th December 2018. The online examination will be conducted in the last week of December. The exam date is 29th December 2018. The candidates are advised to read the full notification carefully before applying for the post.
The candidates applying for the South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 will have to pay Rs 800 as application fee which is for the General Category. For the SC/ST category, the application fee is Rs 200. The fee is non-refundable. The application fee can be paid via Debit Card, Credit Cards Net banking, IMPS or via Mobile Wallets.
The candidates who have completed 10th, 12th and Graduation with minimum 60% marks can apply for the post. The maximum age limit for the unreserved category candidates is 25 years. For the SC/ST candidates, the maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years. The candidates must have passed the 10th class, 12th class, and Graduation under regular course.
The written test will be of 200 marks and there will be total 160 questions. The written test will have 4 tests. There will be 40 questions from Reasoning and Computer Aptitude (40 minutes), 40 questions from General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness (20 minutes), 40 questions from the English Language (40 minutes) and 40 questions from Data Analysis & Interpretation (40 minutes).
The candidates selected for the programme will undergo 8 months residential campus training at the Manipal Global Education Services Bangalore and 4 months internship at the Bank Branch. On the completion of the programme, the candidates will be awarded Post Graduation Diploma in Banking and Finance. The fee for the programme is Rs 3.50 Lakhs.
