SpiceJet Announces Flights Starting From Rs. 12 & Here’s How You Can Book Tickets

SpiceJet is celebrating their 12th anniversary in style. The 12th Anniversary sale by SpiceJet is offering flight tickets starting from just Rs. 12 excluding taxes and surcharges The offer will be valid for all the non-stop flights for a limited period.

The 12th anniversary sale by SpiceJet will be valid for passengers traveling between June 26, 2017 – March 24, 2018. Passengers wanting to travel between these dates can book their tickets from May 23, 2017 – May 28, 2017 to avail the offer.

SpiceJet’s Ticket Starting From Rs. 12

The flight tickets starting from just Rs. 12 under SpiceJet’s 12th Anniversary sale is valid on all bookings made till 28 May, 2017. Apart from cheap flight tickets, the passengers will also stand a chance to win a lot of things in the lucky draw like exciting prizes and free flight tickets.

SpiceJet will also have a lucky draw scheme named “12 sale, bada dhamaal.” SpiceJet will be announcing the lucky winners within 10 days from May 28, 2017. The lucky winners will stand a chance to win domestic as well International flight tickets. Apart from free domestic and international tickets, the lucky winners will also stand a chance to win free cab rides, hotel vouchers and meal vouchers on their next flight booking.

SpiceJet’s 12th Anniversary Offers 

Passengers who will book their tickets using HDFC bank credit cards will be getting free meals and also priority check in option from SpiceJet’s website (Spicejet.com). SpiceJet offered discount on the flight bookings earlier this month. They offered a price of Rs. 849 inclusive of all taxes on selected domestic routes.

The competition amongst the airlines in India is getting intense as a lot of airline companies like AirAsia, Jet Airways, IndiGo and AirIndia have offered heavy discounts on flight tickets in the past.

As per a report from aviation regulator DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), the domestic air passengers earlier were only 15.15 Lakh and now it has increased to 91.34 lakh in April. SpiceJet’s economy class will get cheaper under the indirect tax regime from July 1, 2017. The tax will be increasing from 9% to12% which as a result will make the business class tickets more expensive. SpiceJet’s direct flight from Kolkata-Surat will also be starting from July 1, 2017.
