SSC CGL 2016 Exam | No Offer Letter To Qualified Candidates, Students Appeal For Justice
Still jobless even after making it to the final merit result list of the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016’ conducted by SSC, the authorities have remained tight-lipped on the issue ever since. SSC CGL exam is conducted at various levels once a year with Tier-I acting as a preliminary screening test for the candidates to appear for the Tier-2 for those who crack the prelims. The Tier-3 level of SSC CGLE is a descriptive examination testing the ingenuity of the candidates while Tier-IV is an interview cum document verification round for the authentication of the ID of the candidate with his/her particulars in order to successfully grab an employment opportunity in prestigious government departments in India.
While the entire process takes about 18 months to 2 years to complete, the sheer hard work and patience of the candidate goes for a toss when even after cracking the final level, the appointment letter or the job opportunity is delayed. Same is the case with more than ten thousand of such candidates who are jobless even after clearing the SSC CGL 2016 exam result of which was uploaded on August 2017 at ssc.nic.in online.
SSC CGLE 2016 Shocking Update | 10000+ Candidates Still Jobless, Here’s Why
While, cases like rejection of candidature on the grounds of wrongly or incompletely filled particulars in the answer scripts by the candidates is an everyday affair, the same case has been encountered in the SSC CGL 2016 Tier-3 exam. Some students who appeared for the Tier-III of the SSC CGLE 2016 had forgotten to fill in particulars and details in the answer sheets which has led to cancellation of candidature as the Staff Selection Commission as a conducting authority of various recruitment exams throughout the year did not evaluate the scripts.
The candidates then filed a case against the Commission Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) to seek justice as they were right away granted a zero in the SSC CGL 2016 exam result. The department had issued decision granting a verdict in the favour of these students in October 2017 to either accommodate them in the existing merit list or by generating a fresh merit list of such candidates. The Staff Selection Commission has maintained its silence on the issue even after its resolution ever since leading to wide stage social media protests by the candidates whose appointments have not been issued even without their fault.
As many as 10,661 unfortunate candidates are being subjected to the torment who are demanding their rights. Let us wait and watch, what the Staff Selection Commission, known for its frequent delays in notification release, result declaration and now offer letter appointments has to offer.
