SSC that is Staff selection commission conducts CGL every year and this year SSC CGL 2017 is expected to delay on account of the postponing of the SSC CGL 2017 Tier II. The date for SSC Tier II has been updated twice this year. According to the UPSC in total 15,43,962 candidates appeared in the SSC CGL 2017 tier I that was conducted in 43 batches throughout the country. According to the schedule the tier I for SSC CGL 2017 exam was conducted between the time frame of 5th August to 23rd August 2017. After rectifying the date for SSC CGL Tier II, the final date for the Tier II has been declared as 18th January to 20th January 2018. The postponing of the Tier II will definitely put a factor of delay in the entire SSc CGL 2017 exam. Earlier the Tier II for CGL was going to be conducted from 21st December to 24th December and Tier III was going to be scheduled to be conducted by the end of March 2018.

Here are some important dates for the SSC CGL 2017 candidates. After conduction of Tier I successfully within the time frame of 5th August and 23rd August 2017, the SSC has postponed the Tier II for CGL 2017 to 18th January to 20th January 2018 that was earlier announced to be conducted on 21st December to 24th December 2017. The delay in the Tier II has not yet affected the date for SSC CGL Tier III and is still expected to be conducted by the end of the March 2018.
