SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam result has drawn a lot of criticism from the students on social media owing to the exam analysis making shocking revelations about the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam. The SSC CGLE 2017 examination which was held by the Staff Selection Commission in the month of August 2017 in multiple shifts for over 20 days has its result awaited on October 31, 2017.

Meanwhile, the Commission had released the ‘tentative official answer keys’ of the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam on the official SSC website at ssc.nic.in online. The official answer keys and the questions asked on different days of holding the SSC CGLE 2017 prelims revealed disparity in the average cut-off marks as stated by exam analysis experts.

Candidates who took the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam this year from August 5, 2017 till August 24, 2017 had marked an attendance of approximately 53% out of 30.28 lacs of SSC CGLE 2017 aspirants who applied for the exam. Post the release of the official answer keys of various sets in September 2017 pertaining to the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam, the analysis carried out by the experts revealed that the difficulty level of the questions asked in the prelims exam of SSC CGLE 2017 varied extensively leading to the disparity in the average cut-off scores obtained by the candidates.

On one hand, candidates who took the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam before August 16th marked an average cut-off grades of 120-122 marks owing to the higher difficulty level of questions asked in the prelims. Candidates who attempted the same exam after August 16th encountered relatively easier questions in the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Examination whose on comparison with the answer key revealed an average cut-off marks touching 130 marks.

With no official confirmation to aforementioned details revealed, aspirants eagerly await for the an official SSC notification on its take on the issues that have cropped up in the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam evaluation and marking scheme.
