SSC CGL 2017 (Tier 1) Exam Cut Off Expected to Go Higher

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been to increase the cut-off of 2017 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam. As per the last year, 2017 SSC CGL exam cut-off is expected to get higher. As from past many years, the cut-off of SSC CGL Exam is getting higher and higher, in 2017 also it has been assumed that SSC will set the higher cut-off for the aspirants of SGL Tier 1 exam.

It is also been expected that although the cut-off of the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2017 will increase, but the tough competition of the exam will reduce as the papers will be easy. Earlier the exam dates for the SSC CGL Tier 1 2017 has been extended from August 1 to 5 August.

SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam Expected Cut off

As per the assumption and reports, Staff Selection Commission might increase the cut-off of the CGL Tier 1 exam for the year 2017 that will enable tough competition between the aspirants. From last 4 years, the SSC CGL Tier 1 cut-off has been 62, 102, 96.5 and 102.25 respectively for General category. And for SC/ST and Physical handicapped cut-off varied from 62-103 and 25-90 respectively. All the scores have been given out of the total marks of 200. Whereas, SSC has been planning to set high cut-off for the candidates of CGL Tier 1 exam 2017.

Although the cut- off will differ from categories to categories, from General to SC/ST, the cut-off of the SSC CGL Tier 1 2017 Exam will be different. Rumors are there that the difficulty level of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2017 will reduce down after the high cut-off.

 More Details of SSC CGL Tier 1 2017 Exam & Result

Earlier the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL was scheduled to start from 1st August 2017, but later it was postponed from 5 August 2017. Now the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2017 will be carried out from 5th to 25th August 2017. Computer based Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL 2017 will consist of 25 question from reasoning, English comprehension, general awareness and quantitative aptitude. Each of the section of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2017 will carry 50 marks and 1/2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Quantitative aptitude and General Awareness section of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam are comparatively difficult from the English comprehension and reasoning section of the question paper.
