In a recent blow questioning the level of secrecy and privacy of the competitive government exams, a news has been formulated indicating the Staff Selection Commission CGL 2017 Tier II Paper Leak. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has recently launched an FIR against as many as 17 persons in total in context to the leak of the SSC CGL Tier II Exam of 2017.
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the common graduate level examination each year which is distributed in different Tiers. In context to the leak of the examination, searches at different locations were carried out in order to note the case of any leak.
SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Paper Leaked
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) recently has filed a police complaint against a number of 17 people which include 10 working employees of the Sify Technologies Private Limited. Owing to their connection in the leak of the second Tier of the SSC CGL 2017 Paper, all of them are under scanner. Searches were carried out in as many as 12 locations which are inclusive of the four offices of the Sify Technologies Private Limited. That are located in locations like Chennai, Noida, Mumbai as well as Okhla, New Delhi which happens to be one of the residences of the employees of Sify Technologies.
The SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Paper was held on February 21, 2018 and allegedly, the paper which was proposed in the examination along with the answer key of the same was leaked and became viral on the social media platforms before the examination had taken place.
Students Also Included in SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Paper Leak
The investing agency for the SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Paper in all gave 17 names which were a part of the leak. Out of these 17 names, seven names of the students in the filed FIR were of the students who had appeared in the SSC CGL 2017 Tier II Paper.
These students had appeared in the examination on the basis of the screenshots of the SSC CGL 2017 Tier II question paper which was leaked and thus formulated on the social media platforms. The examinee has received the questions in a particular sequence and with the help of the same, the CBI managed to get through the students who were involved in the leak.
