SSC CGL 2018: On 5th of May, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) 2018. On the same day, the online application process also started. Till now Lakhs of candidates have applied for the SSC CGL 2018 exam.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam – Last Date For Application is 4th June
Every Year Staff Selection Commission conducts the CGL (Combined Graduate Level Exam) for the Group B and Group C posts in various departments. Lakhs of candidates appear in the CGL exam every year. This year, the application process begins on 5th May 2018 and the last date for the application process is 4th June 2018 (as per the SSC CGL 2018 Notification).
All candidates who are eligible for the CGL Exam 2018 are advised to fill the application form on or before the last date i.e 4th June. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the CGL exam in 4 Tier. The First Tier will be conducted from 25th July to 20th August. Rest of the Tiers of CGL exam will be notified later.
SSC CGL 2018 Selection Process
The Staff Selection Commission will select the candidates on the basis of their performance in the different tiers. The Tier 1 of the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018 will be CBT (Computer Based Test). Candidates who will clear the Tier 1 will go for the Tier 2. Tier 2 is also a CBT.
The Selected candidates or the candidates who will qualify the Tier 2 of the CGL exam will be called for the Tier 3. Tier 3 of the CGL exam will be a Descriptive paper (Pen & Paper Mode). The Last one is the Computer Proficiency test or the Skill test.
SSC CGL 2018 Exam – Application Fees & Application Procedure
Application Fee: Candidates who are applying for the SSC CGL 2018 exam will have to pay Rs.100 as application fee. This fee is for the candidates belonging to the General and OBC Category. There is no fee for women, SC/ST category. The fee can be paid via credit card, debit card or by SBI Challan.
How To Apply: The application procedure will close soon. The last date for the application is 4th June. Candidates who haven’t applied yet and want to apply for the Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission can apply on the official website of SSC. Follow these steps to apply online:
– First of all, go to the official website ssconline.nic.in
– On the front page, you will see the apply now link for the SSC CGL 2018 exam. Click on that.
– Click for new registration and register yourself.
– After the registration, a username and password will be provided. Log in with these details and fill the application form.
– After filling all the details click on the submit button and don’t forget to a take a print out of the application form.
