SSC CGL 2018 Notification Delayed | New Date is 5 May – Here’s What is expected

SSC CGL 2018: Staff Selection Commission was supposed to release the official notification regarding the SSC CGL 2018 exam on 21st April 2018 but now the SSC has extended the date of notification for the SSC CGL 2018 exam.

The Staff Selection Commission will now release the SSC CGL Exam 2018 notification on 5th May 2018. Here are the full details about the SSC CGL 2018 Exam and why the notification for the exam is delayed.

SSC CGL 2018 Notification To Be Out on 5th May

The official notification for the SSC CGL 2018 exam will be out on May 5th. Earlier it was supposed to be out on April 21. But the commission delayed the notification. This is because the SSC CGL 2017 Tier 3 exam was delayed. The SSC CGL 2017 Tier 3 exam was scheduled to be held on March 31 but due to some reasons. The Tier 3 exam of SSC CGL 2017 will be held in the month of May. The exact date for the exam is not yet confirmed.

Staff Selection Commission conducted the CGL 2017 Tier 2 exam in the month of February. The exam was scheduled for 17 and 21st February but the 21st February candidates alleged that the question papers of the SSC CGL Tier 2 papers were leaked. The re-exam of the CGL Tier 2 2017 was conducted on March 9 after allegations. Due to this, the CGL 2017 Tier 3 exam date is also postponed to May and in this way, the commission also extends the date of notification for the SSC CGL 2018.

SSC CGL Exam

SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) is one of the biggest exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates for different posts. Candidates who qualify the SSC CGL exam will get some important positions. This is a graduate level test. And all candidates who have passed graduation can apply for the Test. Selected candidates will get jobs as Assistant Section Officer, Assistant/ Superintendent, Inspector of Income Tax, Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Statistical Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, and Assistant/ Superintendent, Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise Inspector, Preventive Officer etc.

SSC CHSL Exam

SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) is conducted by the commission every year. All 12th pass candidates can apply for the SSC CHSL Exam. Recently SSC has released the SSC CHSL 2017 Tier 1 Answer Key on its official website.
