SSC CGL 2018 | Check Age Limit and Selection Procedure – Notification Out Soon

SSC CGL 2018: Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Exam 2018 Notification on May 5. Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification on its website about the publication of the SSC CGL 2018 exam notification. According to the notification, the commission will release the CGL 2018 exam notification on May 5th. Earlier the CGL 2018 exam notification was scheduled to be out on April 21st.

SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Eligibility Criteria For SSC CGL: In order to apply for the SSC CGL Exam 2018, the minimum education qualification required is Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university of India. Candidates who are in the final year of the graduation course can also apply for the Staff Selection Commission CGL Exam. Additional Eligibility criteria for the Combined Graduation Level Exam can be found on the official website of SSC.

Age Limit For SSC CGL Exam: The minimum age limit to appear in the SSC CGL exam is 20 years. The maximum age limit is increased to 30 years. Earlier the maximum age limit for the SSC CGL exam was 27 years. All the candidates born between August 2, 1987, and And August 1, 1997, are eligible to apply for the CGL exam

SSC CGL 2018 Online Application Process

All the interesting candidates who have completed the graduation or who are in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree can apply online on the official website of SSC. The application process will begin once the notification will be released. Candidates will have to register themselves online in order to appear for the exam. Once the notification for the SSC CGL 2018 exam is out candidates can fill the application form. The Staff Selection Commission will release the CGL 2018 Notification on 5th May.

Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) every year for the recruitment of candidates for various posts. Candidates who clear the SSC CGL Tier I exam will go for the Tier II and Tier III.  Tier IV is also there but it is only for specific jobs. This year the number of vacancies is expected to be around 4000. Candidates who clear all the Tiers of SSC CGL exam will get a job in the Staff Selection Commission.
