Service Selection Commission (SSC) has finally released the official notification for CGL 2018 – Combined Graduate Level Exam on its official website. It was earlier stated that SSC CGL 2018 notification would be out on 21st April but later it was postponed to 5th May. Candidates were waiting to get an update on SSC GCL 2018 exam and were eager to know the exam dates, application process, vacancies and all other details.
Staff Selection Commission CGL 2018 Notification & Application Process
As per the SSC CGL 2018 Notification, the Tier 1 of Combined Graduate Level Exam is scheduled to start from 25th July. Tier 1 will be a computer based exam. Selection is said to be based on candidates performance in all the 4 tier exams and also depends on the number of vacancies. The details about SSC CGL 2018 vacancies for Group C and Group D posts have also been mentioned in this details official notification.
As soon as the SSC Combined Graduate Level 2018 exam notification came out on ssc.nic.in, the application process was also initiated on ssconline .nic.in. It has been mentioned in the SSC CGL 2018 notification that the fee to fill the application form is Rs. 100 and the only mode of fee payment is the online mode.
The last date to apply for Staff Selection Commission CGL 2018 exam is 4 June 2018 before 5:00 PM.
SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018 Dates
SSC CGL 2018 Tier -I and Tier 2 will both be Computer Based Examination. Tier -III will be in Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper) and Tier-IV will be a Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable) or simply Document Verification.
If we talk about Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level Exam 2018, then it may be noted that the Tier 1 exam will be of 200 marks and of the duration of 60 minutes. Wrong answer marking will also be there as .50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in this computer based test. The notification also states the syllabus for candidates who’ll be giving the CGL exam by SSC in 2018.
The examination centres for SSC CGL Tier 1 exam have also been included in the official notification on ssc.nic.in.
