SSC CPO 2018 Exam: It’s more than two months since the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam 2018. Candidates who have applied for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 are still waiting for the exam dates and admit cards release date. It is expected that the Staff Selection Commission will release the new timetable for the SSC CPO Exam 2018 this month on its new website. Here are the few details of SSC CPO Exam 2018.
SSC CPO 2018
Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the SSC CPO Exam 2018 in the month of March and started the application process on 3rd March. The online application process for the SSC CPO exam 2018 closed in April. The CPO exam i.e Paper 1 was scheduled to be held from 4th to 10th June and the Paper 2 is scheduled to held in December.
In the last week of May, Staff Selection Commission released an official notification and said that the SSC CPO exam paper 1 has been Postponed due to administrative reasons. The commission has not provided any update regarding the exam dates for the CPO Exam. Candidates are advised to check the new website of SSC for any updates.
SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 – Examination Pattern
The CPO exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of candidates as Sub Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPF and ASI in CISF. SSC CPO exam will have three stages – Paper 1, PST/PET & Paper 2. After the Paper 2, the detailed medical examination will be conducted. The first paper i.e Paper 1 of the SSC CPO exam is an objective type paper. This paper will have questions from the General Intelligence & Reasoning, Aptitude, English Comprehension & General Knowledge.
Each part of the Paper 1 of the SSC CPO Exam will have 50 questions. The maximum marks for each part will be 50. There will be a total 200 questions overall and candidates will get 2 hours to attempt the CPO Exam Paper 1. After the Paper 1, the Staff Selection Commission will conduct the PST (Physical Standard Test) or PET (Physical Endurance Test).
The Paper 2 of the SSC CPO exam 2018 will have questions based on the English Comprehension & English Language. The paper 2 will have a total of 200 questions of 200 marks. Candidates appearing in the Paper 2 will get 2 hours to attempt the Paper 2. In the Paper 1, the questions will be in Hindi and English for all parts except the English language.
