SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 | Vacancies Increased But No Update Regarding Exam Dates

SSC CPO Recruitment 2018: This month Staff Selection Commission released an official notification regarding the vacancies in the Delhi Police, CAPF for the post of Sub Inspector and CISF for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) for SSC CPO Exam 2017. But still, there is no update from the side of SSC regarding the new exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam 2018 first stage which was postponed earlier this year.

SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 – Exam Dates

It’s now more than 3 months since the Staff Selection Commission postponed the Tier 1 Exam for the post of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector and no new update regarding the exam dates have been updated yet. This month SSC released a notice in which the vacancies for the post of SI in Delhi Police, CAPF and ASI in CISF for the year 2017 were increased.

The candidates are waiting for the update from the side of the Staff Selection Commission regarding the exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam 2018. A similar case is with the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018. Just like the SSC CPO Exam, SSC also postponed the Tier 1 of the CGL 2018 exam and still there is no update again regarding the new exam dates.

SSC CPO Recruitment 2017 Vacancies Increased

On 6th September 2018, Staff Selection Commission released the official notice and mentioned the revised vacancy position for the post of SI in Delhi Police, CAPF and ASI in CISF. These vacancies are increased for the CPO Exam 2017. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police now there are total 616 vacancies. Out of these vacancies in Delhi Police, 548 vacancies are Open, 68 are for Ex-Serviceman.

For the post of SI in Delhi Police (Female), there are total 251 vacancies. 129 vacancies in Delhi Police are for the General Category, 68 for OBC, 40 for SC and 19 for ST. For the post of SI in CAPF, there are now 1292 vacancies. The last time vacancies were updated in the month of November 2017. Initial Vacancies was 786 and then it was revised to 1014 and now the final vacancies are 1292.

As per the notice of Staff Selection Commission, now there are total 1200 vacancies in CISF for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. For the Male candidates there are 1080 vacancies and for the female candidates, there are total 120 vacancies.
