SSC CPO SI, ASI Form 2018 | Scheme of Examination, Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria

The last date to apply is 2nd April. Mode of Selection is Online Exam, Physical Test and then Medical Test

On 3rd March Staff Selection Commission released an official notification for CPO SI & ASI post. There are total 1330 vacancies that are to be filled under the SSC ASI CPO Recruitment 2018. The vacancies for the ASI post are not yet announced but soon it will be announced.

The online application process for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 has begun from 03 March 2018. All candidates who want to apply for the same can now apply. The last date is 2nd April. There will be two exams. The first one will be held in between 4 to 10 June and second on 1st December 2018.

Vacancy Details For SSC CPO SI, ASI

As mentioned above there are total 1330 vacancies. For the post of Sub-Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police there are total 86 open vacancies and for Ex-Servicemen there are 11 vacancies. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (Female), there are total 53 open vacancies. The vacancy details for the post of ASI in CISF is not yet declared.

For CRPF there are total 274 vacancies for Male and total 27 vacancies for ExS. Vacancies in BSF are total 483 for male candidates and 25 for female candidates. There are 51 vacancies for ExS. Vacancies in ITBP are 72 for male candidates, 13 for female candidates and 8 are for ExS. There are total 206 vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector in SSB and 21 vacancies for ExS. Vacancies for the CISF will be intimated later.

SSC CPO SI, ASI Form 2018 – Eligibility Criteria

Education qualification for the all the post is bachelor degree from a recognised university. For the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi, Police candidates must have a valid driving license for LMV. Candidates who don’t have a driving license are eligible for other posts in CAPF. Candidates who don’t have the required educational qualification as on 1 August 2018 will not be eligible to apply. All qualified candidates will have to produce the original education qualification. If candidates fail to produce the documents then the candidature of candidates will be cancelled by the commission.

SSC CPO SI, ASI Form 2018 – Scheme of Examination

The exam will consist of Paper 1 followed by physical test then Paper 2 and Medical examination. These all exams are mandatory. Date of SSC CPO ASI exam Paper 1 is 4 June to 10 June. There will be 4 parts of Paper 1. The first part is General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 questions of 50 marks), the second part is General Knowledge (50 questions of 50 marks), Third is Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions of 50 marks) and 4th is English Comprehension (50 questions of 50 marks). The time duration of the Paper 1 is 02 hours.

Paper 2 will be held on 1 December 2018 and it will consist questions from English language and Comprehension. There will be total 200 questions of 200 marks and time duration is 02 hours. All questions will be of Objective type and there will be negative marking for each wrong answer.
