All the candidates who are waiting for the process to begin once again will be able to apply online on the new website of the Staff Selection Commission on or after 17th August. SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 – Online Application Process To Begin Next Week
The online application filling for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 will start from 17th August. The candidates can apply online from 17th August on the new website of SSC. The last date to submit the application form is 17th September. Candidates are advised to completely submit the application form on or before 17th September. The last date to pay the application fee via SBI Challan is 20th September.
To recall, Staff Selection Commission official released the notification for the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2018 on 21st July 2018. The process was scheduled to begin on 21st July but due to the technical problem on the website, the commission postponed the date to 25th July. On 25th July, the website once again stops responding and the Staff Selection Commission postponed to 17th August.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Staff Selection Commission conducts the GD Constable Exam for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Constables (GD) in CAPF, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. The selection of candidates is based upon the performance in the Computer Based Test, PET, PST and Medical examination. To appear in the PET, PST and Medical Examination candidates will first have to clear the Computer Based Test.
As per the official notification released by the Staff Selection Commission on 21st July for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018, there are total 54953 vacancies for the post of Constable. For female candidates, there are 7646 vacancies and for male candidates, there are total 47307 vacancies.
