SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission will soon release the exam dates for the GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2018. In the official notice released by the SSC, it was clearly mentioned that the Staff Selection Commission will soon announce the exam dates for the SSC GD Exam 2018 along with the exam dates for the SSC CPO Exam 2018. The candidates who have filled the application form can check the SSC notice.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 – Exam Date

The Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 in the month of July. The official notification was released on 21st July and after that, the form filling process started for the various posts. At the time of notification release, the Staff Selection Commission didn’t mention the exam dates.

Recently the Commission has released the notification regarding the exam dates for the SSC Selection Posts Phase VI, SSC JHT Exam and SSC Steno Exam. In the same notice, the Staff Selection Commission also mentioned that the commission will soon release the exam dates for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 and the SSC CPO exam 2018. SSC CPO Exam 2018 was postponed in the month of May 2018.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018

Staff Selection Commission conducts the GD exam for the post of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR). As per the official notification for the year 2018, there are total 54953 vacancies under the GD Constable Exam 2018. These vacancies are for the various forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA and SSF.

For the male candidates, there are total 47307 vacancies in various force and 7646 vacancies are for the female candidates. These vacancies are tentative and may be increase or decrease. The age limit to fill the application form was 18-23 years. For the SC/ST category, there is an age relaxation of 5 years. For OBC, there is a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age. The candidates who have applied for the exam are advised to keep a check on the official website for more updates on the exam dates.
