SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission has released important notice for the candidates who have filled the application form for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018. SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 Important Notice
As per the notice, Staff Selection Commission has said that in many cases it comes to notice that the contact details filled by the candidates during the application process comprising Address, pHoto, Signature, Left-Hand thumb impression have not been properly reflected in the application form.
For the convenience of the candidates, Staff Selection Commission has advised all the applicants to check their application form and in any case of discrepancy, they can make the correction. The online correction link in the application form of GD Constable Exam 2018 is active and candidates can make the changes till 18th October 2018. After the last date, no corrections will be allowed to make.
SSC GD Exam 2018
Staff Selection Commission started the process of filling the application form for the post of GD Constable in the month of August. The process was scheduled to begin from the month of July but due to some technical issues in the new website of SSC, the application process was delayed to August month. The last date to fill the application form for GD Constable Exam was 30th September 2018.
As per the schedule, the actual last date was 17th September but candidates once again started facing some technical issues in filling the application form and therefore the last date was extended to 30th September. The process of payment of application fee was closed on 3rd October.
As per the official notification released by Staff Selection Commission for the Constable post, there are more than 50,000 vacancies in the various forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, AR, NIA, SSB, ITBP and SSF). Figure wise there are 47307 vacancies for male and 7646 vacancies for female candidates.
