The SSC JE 2016 Exam was held by the Commission at two levels, namely, Paper-I and Paper-II respectively. The result of the SSC JE 2016 Paper-I was declared by the Commission online on June 5, 2017 for making the shortlisted candidates who made it to the merit list of qualified candidates eligible to appear for the next round of SSC JE 2016 Paper-II held on July 30th this year. The result of which has been successfully declared by the SSC online on December 15, 2017. Post the declaration of SSC JE 2016 Exam, the next step is document verification round as the merit list made of the selected candidates via the Paper-2 result is purely provisional which is further subject to the document verification round.
The SSC JE 2016 Exam is conducted to recruit candidates from engineering disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract for the vacancies introduced in 2016 in various government departments via the test.
SSC JE 2016 Exam Amendment Notification | No Changes/Additions Allowed in Document Verification Round
In the recently released notification pertaining to the SSC JE 2016 Exam, candidates who have been provisionally approved by the authorities are called for the document verification round, failing which these candidates shall not be considered for the recruitment process despite of cracking the exam. The revision notification superimposing the previous one introducing amendments in the clauses of the previous notification was also released by the SSC online which clearly states that the the information inadvertently mentioned that the candidates can submit the revised particulars and supporting documents shall be replaced.
The replacement clause includes that no alterations could be made by the candidate in the information once submitted to the Commission for carrying out selection process via the SSC JE 2016 Examination and the option submitted shall be treated as final at the end of authorities.
