SSC JE 2017 Exam official notification is available at ssc.nic.in online. SSC has revised eligibility norms and conditions for applicants of SSC JE 2017 Exam this year. Releasing an official update on its website recently online, the SSC JE 2017 Exam eligibility criteria has been changed now.

The official notification released by SSC pertaining to the Junior Engineer recruitment exam is available online. The details about SSC JE 2017 Exam online applications & eligibility norms are uploaded on the same. Recently a revised official notification citing changed eligibility criteria for SSC JE 2017 Exam is available online.

Candidates can check the same by first visiting the Staff Selection Commission official portal online. On the homepage of the same, the news tab section contains all the updates about SSC online exams. Click on the link stating ‘Corrigendum SSC JE 2017 Exam’ to access the detailed notification.

SSC JE 2017 Exam is conducted every year to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Engineers in various government departments. Candidates from disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contract are hired according to the vacancies introduced via SSC JE 2017 Exam.

SSC JE 2017 | Candidates With Engineering Degrees Can Now Apply Online

SSC JE 2017 Exam aspirants shall take good care of the fact that the Commission has revised eligibility criteria for them. Earlier only candidates possessing a diploma in their respective engineering discipline could apply for the exam. Moreover, such candidates are eligible but more have been accommodated in the online application procedure too.

Candidates who possess degrees in their respective engineering fields are also now eligible to apply for SSC JE 2017 Exam online. For this, they need not have any work experience in the field as well. So, as per revised eligibility criteria for SSC JE 2017 Exam, either a candidate must possess degree in the field or have three years’ diploma with 2 years’ work experience in order to apply for the test.

These amendments have been introduced to the previous SSC JE 2017 Exam official notification released in October last year. Candidates can refer to the details therein. Whilst only changes in eligibility conditions have been introduced, there is no other change in the SSC JE 2017 Exam notification online.
