The SSC official notification pertaining to the schedule of the Computer-Based Exam or the online SSC JE 2017 Exam is available online. The aspirants of the SSC JE 2017 Exam from the aforementioned fields are advised to carefully go through the detailed notification available on the SSC webiste, gist of which has been mentioned herein. The SSC JE 2017 Exam online application process began on October 20, 2017 to last till Nov 17, 2017 till 5:00 pm.
Also, the exam is scheduled to be held consecutively for three days commencing from January 5, 2018 to January 8, 2018. The time and venue details for the upcoming SSC JE 2017 Exam shall be iterated to the aspirants via the release of an official notification for the activation of download facility for admit cards for the SSC JE 2017 Examination the next year.
SSC JE 2017 Exam in January 2018 | Know Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme Details
The SSC JE 2017 Exam shall be conducted in two sets as Paper-I and Paper-II respectively. The Paper-I shall be conducted in an ‘objective type’ manner acting as a screening test to shortlist the candidates making them eligible to appear for the SSC JE 2017 Exam Paper-II which would be Conventional Type of an exam. The aspirants of the SSC JE 2017 Exam from Civil & Q&C discipline shall appear for the same Paper-I of Civil & Structures. The SSC JE 2017 Exam is further sub-divided into parts like Part A, B, C etc. for which certain set of qualified candidates are allowed to appear for.
As far as marking scheme is considered, the Staff Selection Commission as a conducting authority of the SSC JE 2017 Exam this year has adopted a set pattern of marking scheme as evaluation criteria for the same. For now, the marking scheme details include implementation of negative marking of 0.25 marks in the questions attempted wrongly by the candidates in the SSC JE 2017 Exam.
