The SSC JE 2017 Exam official notification has been released online for Exam which will be conducted in January next year. The recruitment notification was released on the official website of SSC and contains all the essentials which need to be noted by the candidates who will be applying to appear for the SSC JE 2017 Exam.
In the official recruitment notification released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is in context to the recruitment purpose, SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Grade ‘B’ exam for the non-gazetted post will e conducted and applications for the same were made public online from 21st October 2017 and will end on 17th November’ 2017.

The SSC JE 2017 Exam will be conducted in two papers which will commence from January 2018. The first paper is the objective type while the second paper is the conventional type. The first paper of the SSC JE 2017 Exam will be conducted from 5th-8th January’ 2018 and it will be a computer based examination while the second paper will be a written examination.
The objective paper which is the first paper of the SSC JE 2017 Exam, includes subjects like General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness as well as Part A, B and C which deal in various topics of General Engineering like civil and structural, electrical and mechanical respectively. Similar to this pattern, the written examination will also have General Engineering fortes divided into Part A, B and C namely Structural and civil, electrical and mechanical respectively.
SSC JE 2017 Exam Scheme | Know Marking & Time Duration
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC JE 2017 Exam every year for the recruitment of Junior Engineers to work at various posts. The SSC JE 2017 Exam which is divided into 2 papers, is conducted simultaneously. The objective paper that is Paper 1 of the SSC JE 2017 has 3 subjects. Out of the three, two subject question papers have 50- one marker questions each and the third subject which has internal choices, contains 100-one marker questions.
As the date of the objective paper has been announced, the students must note that they will have to appear for the examination either in the morning shift which is from 10 am to 12 noon or the afternoon shift which is from 2 pm to 4 pm. The written examination is also for 300 marks whereas the date for the same shall be informed later on. Both the parts of the SSC JE 2017 Exam are for a time duration of 2 hours irrespective of the shift.
