SSC JE Recruitment 2018: Important Dates, Age Relaxation, & Application Fee Details

SSC JE Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission has activated the link on the official website to fill the application form for the post of JE (Junior Engineer) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts. The application form filling process started on 1st February 2019. The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria in the official notification before filling the application form.

The application form for the SSC JE Exam 2018 can be filled on the regional official website of Staff Selection Commission. Before filling the application form candidates will first have to register themselves on the official website. SSC JE Recruitment 2019 – All Important Dates

The submission of online application on the official website of Staff Selection Commission started on 1st February 2019. The filling of the online application form will close on 25th February 2019. The candidates can pay the application fee till the 27th February 2019 in case of online payment while for the offline payment via Challan, the last date is 28th February. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Computer Based Examination (Paper 1) from 23rd September to 27th September. Paper 2 will be conducted on 29th December 2019.

SSC JE Recruitment 2018 – Age Limit & Application Fee

The maximum age limit to apply for the post of JE is 32 years. For some posts, the maximum age limit is 30 years and for some posts, it is 27 years. The post wise age limit can be checked in the official notification of the Staff Selection Commission. The SC/ST category candidates will get 5 years age relaxation, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.

The application fee for the SSC JE Exam application form is Rs 100. This application fee is only for the General and OBC category candidates. All the other category candidates including the female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee for the exam can be paid via BHIM, SBI Challan, Net Banking or via card payment.
