The examination patterns for the SSC MTS 2017 have been released by the Staff Selection Commission. As per the notifications, the computer based SSC MTS 2017 exam will be conducted in the month of September and will commence from September 16 till October 26.
Subjects for SSC MTS 2017
As per the notification of the paper being leaked which was due in April 2017, the exam was re-scheduled and will be re-conducted in the month of September 2017. The candidates who will be appearing for the SSC MTS 2017 will be assessed on various forums. The subjects for the SSC MTS 2017 include General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, General English as well as numerical aptitude.
Schedule for SSC MTS 2017 | Questions and marks
There is a separate marks and question allotment for each subject in the SSC MTS session 2017 entrance examination. There are 25 questions allotted to each subject in the SSC MTS 2017 exam and each of the subjects included in the SSC MTS Exam 2017 are granted with an equal weight age of 25 marks. As there are 4 subjects in all, the total quantum of marks for the SSC MTS 2017 exam stands to 100.
About SSC MTS 2017 | Time Duration
The duration for the SSC MTS 2017 exam is 90 minutes for the candidates belonging to the general category. Whereas, the time duration for the students who are visually handicapped or belong to the category of Cerebral Palsy candidates are allotted a time period of 120 minutes. Also, as per the SSC rules, the students who are orthopedically handicapped and are subject to locomotor disability (40% or more), because of which the writing domain is affected adversely and extremely, additional 20 minutes are allotted to them. A deficiency of such kind should be indicated by submission of a medical certificate by the candidate.
Whereas, there stands no change in respect to the maximum marks as well as the negative marking that is one-fourth of the total marks attained by the candidate as stated in the original notice of the examination for Paper-1 of the SSC MTS 2017.
