SSC MTS 2017 Paper Leak Case | Accused Has Been Arrested

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has recently arrested a man who was involved in the SSC MTS 2017 paper leak that were to be held on the dates 30th April and May 14th but were cancelled by the department upon learning about the leak. The accused was employed as a driver at the Defense Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) in the fire department. The man was arrested from Pune where he was recently posted by the department. The name of the accused is Rambeer Dangi and is 30 years old.

The Accused’s Involvement in SSC MTS 2017

Rambeer Dangi is a resident of Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh who was working at Pune at the DRDO’s fire department as a driver. He was apparently connected to a larger gang who is running the racket across the country. Dangi on the day of the SSC MTS examination returned to his hometown and handed over the answer key to the question paper to his companions. His name emerged upon the interrogation by the Crime Branch with seven more people who were accused for the same crime. All of the seven were taken into custody within a week after an FIR was lodged regarding the SSC MTS paper leak on May 3.

How The Gang Worked

According to the sources provided by the Police the gang who involved in the SSC MTS paper leak was working in a well organised manner. A person would get the question paper before the examinations from a staff at the test centre. The question paper was then got solved by several people who knew the answers. Then an answer key was prepared by compiling all the answers from different individuals. The answers were then distributed to the candidates through WhatsApp. All the people who got involved in the activity were payed a huge sum of money.

Not only WatsApp a female named Neetu Singh leaked the answer key to SSC 2017 exams on Facebook while the second session of the exams was going on. Singh released the answer key on the social media website almost half an hour prior too the examinations on May 14th.

Police In Search Of The Kingpin

Catching dozens of people from around the country working for the paper leak racket does not serve the purpose of the Police which is to stop these type of events from happening in the future. The department is still trying to find out the kingpin who actually started the who paper leak thing. Some more names have come up into the light involved in the the SSC MTS paper leak and they would be also be arrested soon.
