SSC Recruitment 2018: Last month, the Staff Selection Commission started the process for the SSC GD Constable in NIA, SSF, CAPF, and Rifleman in AR. The application process was scheduled to begin in the month of July but it was then postponed to August month. The candidates who haven’t applied for the post of Constable under the SSC Recruitment 2018, can fill the application form now as the online application window is now open.
SSC Recruitment 2018, Last Date of Online Application 30th September
As per the official notice released by the Staff Selection Commission last month, the last date to fill the application form for the SSC Recruitment 2018 was 17th September 2018. On, 12th September 2018, SSC released an official notification regarding the extension of the last date.
Staff Selection Commission will now close the application process for the SSC GD Constable application form on 30th September. The new website of SSC faced some problems and was running slow that is why SSC extend the last date for SSC GD Recruitment application form. To recall, the process of filling the application form was started on the new website on 17th August 2018.
The application fee for the GD constable exam application form is Rs 100. This application fee is for the candidates of General Category and OBC Category. There is no application fee for the female candidates and the candidates of SC, ST, and Ex-Serviceman.
SSC Recruitment 2018, Vacancies for Male & Female Candidates
SSC GD vacancies For Male: As per the official notification released by the Staff Selection Commission, there are total 54953 vacancies in various forces. For the male candidates, there are total 47307 vacancies in SSC. These vacancies are for the BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA, and SSF. For BSF, there are 14436 vacancies, 180 vacancies in CISF, 19972 in CRPF, 6521 vacancies in SSB, 3507 vacancies in ITBP, 2311 vacancies AR, 8 vacancies in NIA and 372 vacancies in SSF.
SSC GD Vacancies For Female: For the post of Constable GD in various forces, there are total 7646 vacancies for the female candidates. As per the Staff Selection Commission official notification, there are 2548 vacancies in BSF, 20 vacancies in CISF, 1594 vacancies in CRPF, 2025 vacancies in SSB, 619 vacancies in ITBP, 765 vacancies in AR, 75 vacancies in SSF.
