SSC Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission has postponed the starting date of the online applications for the SSC Constable Recruitment 2018. The Commission has uploaded the official notice on the new website of Staff Selection Commission regarding the starting date of application for the Constable Posts. In July SSC postponed the starting dates of the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Application Process two times.

SSC Recruitment 2018 For Constable Posts – New Starting Date
According to the official notice released by the Staff Selection Commission, the new starting date for the SSC Constable Recruitment 2018 is 17th August. The applications will begin from 17th August and candidates who are waiting for the same can apply from 17th August 2018. The last date to submit the applications is also postponed and the new last date to submit the application form for the post of Constable is 17th September.
To recall, the application process was scheduled to start from 21st July but due to the technical fault in the website, the Staff Selection Commission postponed the date and the application process started on 25th July. But due to overload on the new website of SSC, the website again crashed and on 28th July SSC released the notice and announced new starting date for SSC Constable Recruitment 2018 applications.
SSC Recruitment 2018 For Constable Posts
Last month Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the Constable Recruitment in various department. There are total 54953 vacancies in Staff Selection Commission for the post of Constable GD. SSC will recruit 47307 male candidates and 7646 female candidates for the post of Constable in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR).
The candidates will be selected by Staff Selection Commission on the basis of the Computer Based Exam followed by the PET, Medical Examination & Review Medical Examination. As of now, there is no information regarding the exam date for the Constable Recruitment 2018.
