SSC Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission will start the online application process for the post of GD Constable in various departments this week. After a long waiting of 1 month now SSC will start the process of filling the application form for the GD Constable Recruitment on17th August. SSC GD Constable Recruitment Starting Date
The starting date for the online application for the GD Constable Recruitment 2018 is 17th August. However, this date is the new date which was announced by SSC last month. Earlier as per the official notification the process of filling the application form was 21st July but due to technical error Staff Selection Commission postponed the starting date of the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2018 to 17th August.
Once the form filling process for the SSC Constable Recruitment will start, all the interested candidates can fill the application form online on the official website of SSC. All candidates do make a note that the process of filling application will take place on the new website of SSC. The SSC new website link is https://ssc.nic.in.
The last date to fill the online application form for the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2018 is 17th September 2018. The last date to pay the application fee via SBI Challan is 20th September. The exam date and admit cards release date for the GD Constable exam will be announced later on by Staff Selection Commission.

According to the official notification released by the Staff Selection Commission for the GD Constable recruitment 2018, there are total 54953 vacancies for the post of constable. There are total 47307 vacancies for men for Constable post and 4646 vacancies for women for Constable posts. These vacancies in SSC for Constable posts are divided category wise. These vacancies for the post of Constable are for BSF, CISF, SSB, CRPF, AR, NIA, SSF and ITBP. The online application fee for the SSC GD Constable recruitment exam form is Rs.100 for the General and OBC Category candidates while for the rest of the candidates including women, there is no application fee.
